I purchased this piece from a good friend who was a health nurse in Cowichan, BC. She would always have artists come sell her pieces so they could afford to eat and travel to sell their art. She always made a purchase and ended up with boxes and boxes of carvings. In turn I bought them from her whenever I visited them in Sidney, BC.
