Preparing Indigenous Peoples For a Career in Emergency Management

The Crown and post-secondary institutions are focused on developing Emergency Management professionals who will get jobs in non-Indigenous government settings, in municipalities, and in industry but not your community.

To support the need for enhanced emergency preparedness in Indigenous communities Hazardscape provides Emergency Management training, coaching, and mentorship across Canada.

Once trained, students can apply what they have learned to improve the safety in their own and other communities.

Our training program is mobile. It travels from Edmonton to communities in Canada and we provide career support remotely through several digital options.

We include land-based learning opportunities in your community as part of the course fees.

No More Expensive Consultants

The days of hiring expensive consultants, like this guy who are happy to take your money and leave you with a 6 inch binder with a static plan that know one wants to read are over.

Your community and your people are good enough.

You have the people and capacity right now to design, develop, and sustain your own Emergency Management Program that is culturally appropriate.
