Course Description
Wildfires, flooding, and other emergency situations have a major impact on community members’ physical, mental, spiritual, and financial well-being, and on a Nation’s sovereignty and cultural integrity. This course is designed specifically to help Indigenous emergency managers learn about the the federal emergency management system and common vocabulary.
This course is also relevant to health departments, child and family services, corporate development organizations, education, and other Indigenous-led groups.
